The excavator’s control joysticks are the core control components for the entire machine’s operation and the equipment used by the operator. All digging, lifting, rotating, and extending movements of the excavator are accomplished by the coordinated operation of the two main control joysticks on the left and right sides. They are suitable for various engineering conditions such as earthmoving, loading, leveling, land reclamation, and crushing.
The standard operating mode features unified action logic, ease of use, and is a universal standard for engineering construction.
1. Right Control Stick (Controls Boom + Bucket)
The right stick primarily controls the digging height and bucket opening/closing, determining the digging depth and unloading actions:
– Push forward: Boom lowers, equipment lowers for digging
– Pull back: Boom raises, lifting material and bucket
– Swing left: Bucket retracts (bucket retraction, digging and removing soil)
– Swing right: Bucket tilts outward (bucket opening, unloading and dumping soil)
2. Left Control Stick (Controls Arm + Machine Rotation)
The left stick controls the working radius extension/retraction and machine rotation, determining the working range and turning angle:
– Push forward: Arm extends, increasing the working distance
– Pull back: Arm retracts, closing the boom
– Swing left: Machine rotates left
– Swing right: Machine rotates right
During daily operation, keep the handle clean to prevent mud and sand from getting stuck; regularly check the pilot oil pipe and seals to prevent oil leaks and pressure drops; promptly lower the safety lock after operation to prevent misoperation. Proper maintenance can significantly extend the service life of the control system and ensure long-term stable and accurate operation of the equipment.
